Not a 'regular' gear cycle story

Pic source: Pickpik.com During my childhood, I had two categories of friends, no, not male and female. I grew up with boys and hence I belonged to the male crowd games only. So there were two categories, one category had cycles that had two wheels and a handle-bar (if not broken). The other category were ‘elites’ who had cycles with gears. And you ought to gape in awe, when somebody tells you that they have a gear cycle. Why? It is a practice. No questions asked. And some go the extra mile, they have rear view mirrors and a water bottle holder, because you got to show off. I’m also told that to change from one gear to another, you have to exert a pressure and maintain a speed to have the wheels rolling. That is pure Maths, they claim.
